Our first Candles were earthy and herbaceous, most of them inspired by one ingredient or fragrance. But the Estate is filled with a sea of flowers, grasses, and trees — like intoxicating Night Blooming Jasmine, Damask Roses, Olive Trees, and Vetiver. If you walk around the garden, it’s this combination of aromas that make it so magical. So this set represents the second generation of our Candles. Each one is complex and layered with the sensual fragrances from the property. They are our most unique, and now the most requested.

Jasmine Damask Rose Candle
This one is particularly close to my heart, because I have Jasmine growing outside my window, and its scent fills every corner of the room when I sleep. Made with Jasmine, Ionian Bergamot, Pink Peppercorn, and White Sandalwood.

Agrigento Olive Tree Candle
Herbal and bright, with a gentle bite of pepper and a hint of ripe fruit. Conjuring the feeling of cool marble on hot days with Galbanum and Violet Leaf.

Douglas Fir Vetiver Candle
Light up forest bathing. This Candle is teeming with the scents of dancing Grass, smoky Vetiver, fresh Basil, sweet Angelica Root, and woody Douglas Fir for a clean and crisp aroma that calms deeply.

Candle Care

When burning your candle for the first time, allow it to burn for 2 to 3 hours, until the top layer of the wax has completely melted. This will prevent the wax from tunneling around the wick. When burning the candle after the first burn, do not let it burn for over 3 hours at a time.

Ideally, we recommend keeping the wick trimmed to 1/4 inch at all times to prevent the candle from emitting smoke or the wick falling into the wax.

After each burn, see that the wick is centered in the wax. This will also ensure that the glass does not overheat. The wick and flame should never be touching the glass. When approaching the end of the candle, leave ¼ inch of wax unburned and ensure you are not burning the candle for more than 3 hours. The glass can get overheated without the presence of wax and break.

Our Impact

Our candles are packaged in boxes with an FSC certification, which means they were made using materials from responsibly managed forests, including some recycled paper products.

The soy wax in our candles is non-GMO and grown in the USA.

SHIPPING & EXCHANGES

Special Orders

To allow our store to offer the most options as possible we partner with some of our key vendors to allow for Special Orders. Special Orders consist of merchandise that we do not stock or is currently back ordered with the vendor and Special Orders either ship directly from the vendor or they're shipped to us upon purchase and we ship directly to the customer.

Any items purchased from specific brands (listed below) OR have a special order variant are considered FINAL SALE and cannot be cancelled or exchanged for any reason per vendor policies.

Because of this process, ALL special orders take additional time to ship. If your order contains BOTH in-stock and special order variants your order will ship complete unless additional shipping is paid to split the order and ship separately.

How do I tell if it's a special order?

Most of the brands above will have 2-3 variant options. Single means IN-STOCK at our store and ready to ship. Anything sold in sets or via Special Order variant means it will need to be ordered from the vendor.

Shipping & Exchanges

Orders are processed within 3-5 business days, Tuesday-Friday. Please note during our busy season, October-December and during any special sale events orders will take additional time to process. Processing means prepare for shipment & does NOT include the actual time of shipping transit.

Once items are prepared/processed for shipment, standard shipping in the continental US takes 2-7 business days in transit. Most items are shipped from Atlanta, Georgia.

In-store pick up is also available. Choose in-store pick up option at checkout and you'll receive an email once your oder is ready for pick up.

We do thoroughly inspect all shipments before sending them off, but damages can sometimes occur. We ask that you inspect your pieces immediately upon receipt and notify us of any damage asap so we can take the appropriate measure to rectify the situation. Please also take pictures of the box and any damages that may have occurred. Damages must be reported within 10 days of receipt be eligible for refund or replacement.
